Soledad Atienza, Dean of IE Law School, named new Co-President of the Law Schools Global League
LSGL is composed of 32 law schools that share a common interest in international legal education.
Soledad Atienza, Dean of IE Law School at IE University, has been appointed Co-Chair of the Law Schools Global League (LSGL) along with James Speta, Professor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
The designation has taken place at LSGL’s Academic Conference, recently held at the Strathmore University in Nairobi (Kenya), where challenges and opportunities for law teaching, as well as internationalisation, multidisciplinarity and the use of GPT chat, were discussed.
“It is an honour to lead the LSGL together with my friend James Speta and to continue working to promote global legal education. Law schools have the opportunity and responsibility to train jurists and citizens who contribute to Justice and the Rule of Law, and the LSGL is a fantastic platform to promote these values internationally,” highlights Soledad Atienza, Dean of IE Law School.
